The Vegetorium farm is located in the community of Sheffield Mills in the Annapolis Valley. Here we grow a big selection of mixed fruit and veggies and berries. Each season we plant about 16 acres of crops to grow for the farmers markets that we attend. We are excited to start back selling at the Fairview farmers market.
I’m a newcomer from afar, who set foot on this strange land with his family with a vision of the future. When I first arrived in Nova Scotia, they were deeply attracted by the natural scenery and simple folk customs here. From the sea breeze of Halifax Port, to Peggy’s Cove, every scenery made me feel the unique charm of this land. As time went by, I not only found a new home here, but also fell deeply in love with every plant and tree here. I drew these scenery on the stone and hopes to pass on
